Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration

The Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration (Ph.D. in BA)is designed to advance the professional development and theoretical foundation of business administrators, management academics and other professionals in the business and public management arena by expanding their knowledge base and theoretical perspective in critical areas of business administration related to promoting humanistic, socially responsible and sustainable business; and equipping them with research and change management skills needed. 

By the end of the program, PhD in BA students would be able to: 

• apply business theories, concepts, and knowledge in the resolution of issues within the local, national, and international contexts; 

• develop expertise and advanced strategic skills in teaching, research, managerial, and entrepreneurial endeavors necessary for managing multifaceted organizations; 

• design socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable entrepreneurial projects to uplift the quality of life of the marginalized sectors; 

• demonstrate leadership skills to create valuable transformation in the workplace and in local and global communities; 

• undertake relevant research to develop new business models, theories, or concepts in accordance with ethical principles and Lasallian values; and 

• disseminate research outputs through paper presentation in at least a regional forum using effective communication skills.
