The Doctor of Philosophy in Language Studies with Specialization in English program offers students a broader understanding of the language and its linguistic, philosophical, psychological, social, and cultural dimensions. It aims to develop research-oriented language mentors, language researchers, and specialists with a high degree of preparation and research orientation that will give them credence to defend or argue the efficacy of language programs viewed from various perspectives.

PUBLICATION REQUIREMENT
Publication in a nationally or internationally refereed and indexed journal.
The student must have at least one publication with a publication date that is within the student’s residency in the program reflecting the name of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas as the student’s institutional affiliation.
