Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management
The Master of Arts in Education major in Guidance and Counseling program equips graduate students with varied appropriate counseling theories and strategies, thereby developing competent, confident, and compassionate research-oriented guidance counselors in the academe/industry/government settings.

Program Goals
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:
Provide personal and career counseling in the school and community.
Conduct assessment using appropriate tests and non-test techniques.
Interpret assessment results for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Design, implement and evaluate guidance and counseling programs.
Design appropriate counseling interventions for the school and community using evidence-based counseling approaches.
Practice ethical standards in counseling.
Provide indirect service in counseling with teachers, parents and other stakeholders through consultation and case conferences.
Prepare for and pass the Board Examination for Registered Guidance Counselors.

Passing the Written Comprehensive Examination (WCE) upon completion of the basic, major and cognate courses.
Publication in (at least) a Refereed Journal. The student must have at least one publication with a publication date that is within the student’s residency in the program reflecting the name of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas as the student’s institutional affiliation.
