MBA with Specialization in Supply Chain Management

The Masters in Business Administration with Specialization in Supply Chain Management is a regular MBA course with concentration in Supply Chain Management. This aims to equip students with conceptual, procedural aspects and applications of supply chain, materials management and physical distribution with technological and management skills necessary to meet the operational and strategic objectives of organizations in a dynamic business environment. 

By the end of the program, MBA-SCM students would be able to: 

• apply theories and concepts of supply chain management to provide technology-based and creative solutions to business problems using quantitative and qualitative decision-making tools; 

• analyze logistics management challenges and opportunities, both local and international, and propose action plans based on professionalism, good governance, and Lasallian values; 

• employ leadership skills in dealing with people of various disciplines and cultural backgrounds; 

• demonstrate professionalism in the workplace and observe ethical standards in dealing with the different stakeholders of the business organizations, including the vulnerable and marginalized sectors of the society; 

• communicate through various business channels and/or multimedia, such as oral and written, to aid in the implementation of effective supply chain management strategies; 

• design appropriate supply chain management plans that are lawful, ethical, environmental and socially responsive on both local and global platforms; 

• demonstrate commitment to economic and social transformation as well as environmental sustainability in response to national and global challenges; and 

• prepare a Management Research Paper (MRP) to recommend effective organizational strategies related to supply chain management.
