Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program focuses on the rigorous training of students with the latest IT concepts and applications. It provides a practical approach in studying the various facets and latest applications of the IT industry with track in: Network Technology or Software Technology.
Graduates of this program may pursue a meaningful career as a database administrator, entrepreneur in the IT industry, information security administrator, IT instructor, programmer, trainer or researcher. They can also become successful as researchers, information security/network administrators, technical support specialists or web administrators, web masters, or web developers.

Program Goals
Apply concepts of computing in different domains of information technology.
Identify and analyze the problem and define the computing requirements appropriate to its solution.
Design, develop, test and evaluate various solutions using modern computing tools for complex computing problems that would take full advantage of the usability of computer resources.
Document the computer-based systems by writing effective reports for end-users.
Work effectively as an individual or as a member of a team during software development for company-based systems.
Manage and maintain system security, reliability, and efficiency.
Communicate effectively with the computing community and non-IT professionals about computing activities.
Recognize the legal, social, ethical, and professional issues involved in the utilization of computer technology and address these issues.
Engage in continuing professional development through performing independent or collaborative research as computing professionals.
