DLSU-D Lady Patriots Rally to Podium Finish in Fletcher Beach Volleyball League

Ivy Ascaño and Ice Quintana of the DLSU-D Lady Patriots rallied from a first-set loss to beat De La Salle College of Saint Benilde's Cly Catarig and Francis Flores, 2–1, and take second runner-up honors in the women's division of the Fletcher Beach Volleyball League at Nuvali here.

The DLSU-D pair dropped the opener, 14–21, then edged Catarig and Flores, 25–23, to force a decider. They closed out the match, 15–8.

The podium finish came in a field made up of De La Salle University-Manila, De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, DLSU-D, DLS-CSB, and the La Salle Volleyball Club.
