University Research Office (URO)
The URO serves as the hub where ideas thrive. It nurtures faculty and student researchers, guiding them from proposal development to publication. Every project is aligned with the University's strategic goals, ensuring that research is not only academically rigorous but also socially impactful. The URO intensifies faculty and support staff involvement in research, monitors and coordinates research operations, forges objective assessment of scholarly research, and sustains the culture of research in the university.

Intellectual Property Office (IPOD/ITSO)
In 2012, DLSU-D became a partner of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL). The Intellectual Property Office handles assistance in the filing of patents, utility models, and industrial designs; assistance in the filing of trademarks; conduct of IP trainings and seminars; assistance in the formulation of contracts involving IP rights; assistance in the development and commercialization of DLSU-D innovations; and assistance in matters related to IP protection such as copyright.

DLSU-D Ethics Review Committee (DERC)
The DLSU-D Ethics Review Committee (DERC) is tasked to assess the ethics of proposed research. The DLSU-D ERC helps safeguard the dignity, rights, safety, and well-being of all actual or potential research participants. The ethics review process usually takes 14 business days depending on the submitted requirements and availability of the members assigned to review the Research Proposal.
Requirements for Ethics Review
Informed Consent Assessment Form (ICAF), Protocol Assessment Form, Informed Consent (English and Filipino Version), Revised Research Proposal, Validated Questionnaire/Guide Questions, Image or Advertisement of Recruitment Process, Link/Site of data sources (if data mining), Official Receipt - Ethics Review Fee (Undergraduate: ₱300, Graduate Studies: ₱1,750 or ₱3,500 if full board review, Faculty: ₱3,500).
