The Student Media and Publication Office (SMPO) of De La Salle University–Dasmariñas serves as the home and support center of student media at DLSU-D. It demonstrates the University’s commitment to developing student media and empowering Lasallian student journalists, writers, and creatives, guided by faith, zeal for service, and communion in mission.
SMPO fulfills this mission by organizing seminars and training programs that provide opportunities and exposure for aspiring and incumbent student journalists and artists, establishing policies to ensure the smooth operation of student media organizations and offering technical guidance to promote accurate, fair, and balanced reporting in line with the Campus Journalism Act of 1991 and university policies.
Through these initiatives, SMPO nurtures responsible communicators who uphold inclusive, human, and Christian education. By fostering collaboration and amplifying diverse voices, the office contributes to social transformation, active citizenship, and the pursuit of a just, peaceful, and sustainable society.

Our Mission
To guide and support student media practitioners through formation, leadership development, and platforms that promote ethical journalism, creative expression, and unity in mission by advancing dialogue, dignity, and social responsibility among members of the Lasallian community.
Functions
SMPO shall:
Support and guide accredited student media and publications in their journalistic and creative endeavors.
Provide formation programs in ethics, leadership, responsible storytelling, and media literacy.
Uphold University policies while respecting editorial independence and creative identity.
Foster collaboration, dialogue, and resource sharing among recognized student media organizations.
Promote inclusive, values-driven journalism, and creative expression that reflects Lasallian identity and responsibility.

Punto Verde
Punto Verde is the official newsletter of the Student Media and Publication Office (SMPO) at De La Salle University–Dasmariñas. It showcases the achievements, initiatives, and collaborative efforts of students, student media organizations, faculty advisers, and institutional partners within the Lasallian community. More than being a publication, Punto Verde serves as a platform for communication and mentorship, fostering reflective and responsible storytelling aligned with the Lasallian core values.
Heraldo Filipino
The Heraldo Filipino (HF) is the official student publication of De La Salle University–Dasmariñas. Established in 1985, HF upholds nearly four decades of journalistic excellence, continuing its mission of amplifying student voices, sparking critical conversations, and championing the vital role of campus journalism within the Lasallian community.
Vicissitude
Vicissitude is the official yearbook publication of De La Salle University–Dasmariñas. It serves as a trusted Lasallian partner in commemorating each graduating batch’s milestones through high-quality yearbooks that reflect excellence and tradition. Beyond publishing, Vicissitude also organizes and provides graduation pictorial services, ensuring a meaningful and memorable experience for the Lasallian community.
Ethical Journalism and Media Literacy Workshops
Equip student media practitioners with skills in responsible journalism, fact-checking, and adherence to Lasallian core values.
Leadership and Organizational Development Seminars
Build competencies in team management, decision-making, and conflict resolution for members of the Editorial/Executive Board.
Creative Writing and Multimedia Storytelling Sessions
Enhance proficiency in feature writing, photojournalism, and digital content creation for diverse platforms.
Technical Skills Training for Design and Production
Provide hands-on learning in layout design, video editing, and yearbook or newsletter production.
Mentorship and Peer Learning Programs
