We believe that a mistake does not define a young person’s future. Through education, livelihood and skills training, psychosocial support, spiritual and values formation, sports and wellness and family reintegration, we help young people discover their strengths, take responsibility, and prepare for a better life.

Who we are

De La Salle Bahay Pag-Asa Dasmariñas (DLSBPD) is a De La Salle Brothers mission initiative and a DSWD-registered and licensed residential healing facility for Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL).

Guided by the principles of the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act (RA 9344) and the Lasallian values of Faith, Service, and Communion, DLSBPD provides a safe and nurturing environment where young people are given opportunities for healing, education, rehabilitation, values formation, and family reintegration—helping them take responsibility, rebuild their lives, and move toward a hopeful and productive future.

Our Mission

To create a safe environment for CICL by offering holistic education and support. We empower them to reach their potential and drive positive change in their communities guided by the Lasallian values of faith, service and communion.

Programs and Services

  • Education & Literacy — Assessment on admission, enrollment in formal or non-formal programs, ALS support, exam registration and school supplies.
  • Livelihood & Skills Training — Pan de Pag-asa bakery; TESDA courses (Computer Servicing, Bookkeeping); crafts, printing, and entrepreneurship coaching.
  • Psychosocial Care — Individual/group therapy, anger management, art & music therapy, and regular psychological assessments.
  • Health & Wellness — Regular medical, dental, and vision checkups; nutrition and hygiene education; sports and exercise programs.
  • Spiritual & Values Formation — Daily prayer, weekly Mass, recollections, catechism, and service activities that build character.
  • Post-Care Support — Job placements, scholarships, family counseling, and reintegration monitoring that sustain transformation.

Volunteers amplify our work. Tutors, coaches, counselors, bakers, artisans, and mentors bring skills, hope, and consistent presence that change behavior and open doors. Whether you can give one hour a week or lead a skills workshop, your service matters.

 

How to volunteer?

  • Send a Letter of Intent or fill out our Volunteer Application. Email: director_dlsbpd@dlsud.edu.ph or dlsbahaypagasadasmarinas@dlsud.edu.ph.
  • Screening & interview — we assess fitness, safety, and schedules.
  • Submit required documents — valid ID; consent if under 18 years old; confidentiality & child safeguarding agreement.
  • Attend orientation & training — learn house rules, child protection procedures, and activity planning.
  • Coordinate & serve — schedule with the Social Worker or staff; deliver sessions; reflect and report.

  • Cash donations: Hand to Cashier/Accounting Office or to the Director/RSW — an acknowledgement slip issued immediately.
  • Check: Payable to De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.
  • Bank deposit / online transfer: Bank details provided on request; email deposit slip to director_dlsbpd@dlsud.edu.ph for acknowledgment.
  • In-kind donations: Groceries, hygiene kits, school supplies, mattresses, kitchen utensils, sports equipment. Prior coordination required for documentation and delivery.
