The Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC) is the extension arm of De La Salle University–Dasmariñas that manages and facilitates sustainable, inclusive, relevant, and innovative extension and service-learning programs. Guided by the Lasallian spirit, LCDC leverages three and a half decades of experience to build collaborative partnerships and drive social transformation.
What: Integrates academic learning with community service, engaging students in organized, reflective activities that respond to community needs.
Why it matters: Students gain real-world skills while communities receive education-driven solutions.
What: Builds sustainable partnerships with marginalized communities and vulnerable sectors through participatory projects.

LCDC leads DLSU-D's volunteerism efforts, creating opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to make meaningful, sustained contributions to community development. Through SERVE and other initiatives, volunteers are formed, accompanied, and empowered to become compassionate leaders.

Since 1989, SERVE has nurtured Lasallian students who live the mission through service, advocacy, and community development. Under LCDC guidance, SERVE offers formation, accompaniment, and hands-on projects that deepen students’ faith, skills, and commitment to the common good.
