Campus Safety at De La Salle University–Dasmariñas
At De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), the safety and security of students, employees, and visitors are a top priority. The University maintains a comprehensive campus safety system designed to prevent risks, respond swiftly to emergencies, and foster a secure environment that supports learning, work, and community life.
Safety measures at DLSU-D are integrated into daily campus operations and strengthened through continuous preparedness initiatives aligned with Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) principles. These measures ensure that the community is protected before, during, and after emergency situations.
We prioritize your safety
Every gate at DLSU-D is a checkpoint for care. Access control protocols ensure that only authorized individuals enter the campus, protecting students, employees, and visitors alike while keeping daily movement orderly and efficient.
If you're part of the DLSU-D community
Students, employees, service providers, and concessionaires: show your
DLSU-D ID to the guard, or tap your RFID-enabled ID at the scanner.
Gates are also equipped with facial recognition, which matches you
against your registered profile for faster, contactless entry. Wear your
ID where it can be seen the whole time you're on campus.
If you're a visitor
Go to the visitor processing area. Present a valid government-issued ID for logging, then get your Visitor's Pass and wear it. Security will ask the purpose of your visit before you proceed.
Bag Inspection
All bags are subject to inspection at the gate. This includes backpacks,
luggage, packages, and anything hand-carried. It applies to everyone —
students, employees, visitors, and contractors.
If you're driving in
Your vehicle needs a valid DLSU-D sticker. Roll down your window, show
your DLSU-D ID, and open the trunk if asked.
No ID, No Entry
No valid ID means you'll be sent to the visitor processing area for
verification, or turned away.

- On-campus Emergency Response Vehicle to support rapid medical and security assistance \
- Trained Medical First Responders prepared to deliver immediate care during medical emergencies
- A Dedicated Fire Truck strategically stationed within the campus for quick fire and rescue response
- K9 Security Patrol Units deployed to enhance campus surveillance and crime prevention
Walk-through Metal Detectors installed at key entry points, including Magdalo and Madiwang Gates, to strengthen access control and public safety
These safety resources allow emergency responders to act swiftly while minimizing disruption and ensuring the well-being of the campus population.

DLSU-D Supports Earthquake Drill
In compliance with RDRRMC Memorandum No. 11, s. 2025 and the directive from the City of Dasmariñas CDRRMC, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas will join the 4th Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at exactly 9:00 AM. 🚨 Please be advised that all campus gates will be temporarily closed during the drill to ensure the safety and integrity of the exercise. Gates will reopen immediately after its conclusion. Let’s stay alert, informed, and ready—because preparedness saves lives! 💚

Emergency Assistance and Hotlines
In the event of an emergency, immediate access to external emergency services is essential. DLSU-D coordinates closely with local government units and emergency responders. The following official emergency hotlines for the City of Dasmariñas and the Province of Cavite are available 24/7 to provide urgent assistance when needed.
Evacuation Areas and Assembly Points
To ensure orderly evacuation, accountability, and efficient emergency response, De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) has designated official assembly points across the East and West Campuses. Members of the community are required to proceed to their assigned assembly point based on their office, college, or facility.
The following offices, colleges, and facilities are assigned to Assembly Point A:

Assembly Point C – University Grandstand / Track Oval
During an emergency, all individuals must remain calm, evacuate immediately to their designated assembly point, and follow the instructions of emergency personnel. These assembly points are established to support rapid headcount, coordination, and the safety of the entire campus community.
